Mondani Web is extremely happy to present “Modern and Vintage Watches” Auction by Meeting Art. The auction will take place on 29/30 October – 05/06 November at Palazzo Meeting Art (Corso Adda 7-11 13100 Vercelli, Italy).

The autumn auction will take you on an authentic journey through time with three hundred and twenty watches that they are pleased to present to you. Starting in the 1920s with lot 180, a splendid Patek Philippe pocket in excellent condition accompanied by its original 1926 case and certificate.
Also, a Rolex Daytona, from the first hand-wound models, with lot 160, ref. 6263 in steel, passing through lot 238, ref. 16528 with “Four Writings” dial that well represents the transition to the self-winding movement, arriving in the 2000s with reference 116520 with caliber 4031 entirely signed Rolex, lot 37.
The Vintage timepieces will be well represented by an exceptional triptych of Rolex Day-Date reference 18238 all with stone dials (Ammonite – Grossularia – Onyx). Also highlight lot 154 an IWC Ingenieur SL Jumbo in steel, one of the best exponents of the rich array of 1980s timepieces.
There’s interest for the recently produced pieces as evidenced by lot 320, prestigious Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar in white gold with reference 5940.
