Mondani Web is extremely  happy to present Antiquorum’s Auction “Important Modern & Vintage Jewels”. For the first time in Antiquorum’s history, the auction house is organizing a jewelry auction in Geneva.

The auction takes place at the Hotel Beau-Rivage, Salon de l’Impératrice (13, Quai du Mont-Blanc, 1202 Genéve) on Novembre 11th, 2019.

Sapphire and diamond ring, Bulgari. Cushion-shaped sapphire of 17.52 carats, marquise and circular-cut diamonds, platinum (900) and gold, 1960s, signed Bvlgari SSEF 2017, report no 95656, 17.52 carats, Burma (Myanmar), no indications of heating.

Nail bracelet, Aldo Cipullo. Gold, 1971, signed Cipullo. F. Chaille, The Cartier Collection Jewelry Volume 2, Flammarion, p 562 Appearing just after the Love bracelet, the Nail bracelet was another emblematic design by Aldo Cipullo, making a big splash in 1971. This bracelet appeared even more provocative and transgressive than its predecessor. It was born of aesthetic reflection upon the beauty of humble, simple objects, here taken to an extreme. In an interview, the mischievous designer claimed that the idea came to him after stepping on a nail.
