LOT 1003

Bulgari Serpente Tubogas in Steel and 18K Rose Gold, Ref. SP35SPG. Snake style bracelets have been worn by women for thousands of years. The sensuality of the snake wrapping around the arm has passed down through antiquity. Bulgari’s masterstroke was to mount a watch onto this style bracelet and the Serpenti was born. The present example is very interesting in two tone steel and rose gold with the Tubogas bracelet.Dial is mint. Case is in excellent condition, with some scratches. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in excellent condition.

 

LOT 1007

Cartier Ronde Must in Sterling Silver, Ref. 1815-1. Cartier’s Must line was introduced in 1976. It stressed style and offered much greater variations than the regular line. As a result, they have become extremely collectible, with collectors flocking to these models. The present example has been customized with diamonds and sapphires as well as floral charms added to the bezel. Dial is in excellent condition. Case is excellent, with some scratches. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in excellent condition.

 

LOT 1013

Frank Muller Master Calendar in 18K White Gold, Ref. 2852MC. Franck Muller produced a number of watches in their Cintree Curvex line. The 2852MC is a triple calendar. The functions, combined with the classical styling cues give the watch an Art Deco appearance, but on a much grander scale. The beautifully designed guilloche dial is a hallmark of Franck Muller and it is extremely attractive. Dial is in excellent condition. Case is in excellent condition with scratches. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in excellent condition.

 

LOT 1019

Jaeger LeCoultre Tubogas for Bulgari, in 18K Yellow Gold, Ref. 36, circa 1970’s. The Bulgari Tubogas is one of the most iconic ladies’ watches. It has been in production since the 1920s. The coiled bracelet was inspired by flexible gas pipes and exhaust pipes on cars. The way is it wrapped is a manufacturing marvel, with no solder necessary. The present example uses a Jaeger-Lecoultre movement and dial and represents an interesting collaboration between the two brands. Dial is in excellent condition. Case is excellent, with scratches. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in excellent condition.

 

LOT 1025

Rolex Daytona Ref. 116520 in Stainless Steel, Dial is mint. The 116520 came out in 2004 and features Rolex’s first in-house chronograph movement, the 4130. This movement is known for having a vertical clutch, giving the chronograph mechanism precise starts and stops. Finding a newer Daytona can be hard and the present example is very attractive with its steel case and black dial. Case is very good, with some scratches and signs of wear, but no sign of polishing. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in excellent condition.

 

LOT 1027

Hublot Classic Fusion Special Edition in Titanium and Carbon Fiber, Ref. 511.NQ.1771.RX.PLP16. Hublot’s Classic Fusion line takes the style of the original MDM model and gives it some of the design cues from the Big Bang, creating a design that is a fusion of both. They made numerous special editions in small batches and this stainless with carbon fiber accents is one of the more appealing variants. Dial is mint. Case is in excellent condition, with some scratches. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in excellent condition.
