Cartier Crash 1991 Limited Edition in 18K Gold. This piece is the first reissue of the original Crash watch. The Cartier Crash is one of the most famous watches made by the legendary jeweler, The original Crash was made by Cartier craftsmen in the UK after seeing a colleague’s watch that was badly melted in a car accident. Debuted in 1991, it was limited to only 400 pieces and is accompanied by a Cartier box, warranty and manual.

The present example has attractive, even aging on the case and dial. It is from 1971, which was the first year for movement hacking. The bracelet is a solid link Oyster and is newer than the watch.
