Christie’s Rare Watches auction will feature a curated selection of works representing more than 300 years of watchmaking with timepieces made by the world’s most famous manufacturers including Patek Philippe, Rolex, F.P. Journe, Audemars Piguet, Breguet, Cartier, Omega and Longines.

Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1951 and its subsequent sale on 1 June 1953. Approx. 58 examples made in pink gold.

Patek Philippe, a very fine, rare and highly important, in 18K Pink Gold, openface keyless lever world time watch with Polychrome Cloisonné Enamel dial representing a map of North America with box. Original fitted Patek Philippe presentation box, Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with world time dial and raised gold hour markers in 1948 and its subsequent sale on 26 January 1950.
