Auction Live: April 26, start 7 PM Cest

The spring edition contains exclusive watches carefully selected by Bukowski’s watch specialists from the very top manufacturers such as Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Rolex. With an established reputation for offering unique and exceptional collectables with interesting provenance, this highly anticipated auction is no exception. With a carefully curated catalogue of coveted rarities, vintage classics and modern masterpieces, the auction offers something for even the most discerning connoisseurs.

Discover Jean Dunand, the watch manufacturer that, since its start in 2003, has made a name for itself by creating outstanding and unique watches. The name is a tribute to the Swiss artist and designer Jean Dunand, who was famous for his Art Deco designs. At the 2010 Basel fair, “The Palace” was introduced. Inspired by Art Deco, including the Eiffel Tower, the watch was received as one of the fair’s highlights. In addition to being visually impressive, the watch was conceived with high functionality in mind. Features include a linear GMT indicator, a power reserve indicator, a chronograph and a tourbillon. Retail price for this watch was about 420,000 USD, equivalent to about 4.3 million SEK. A unique and fascinating watch in every way. (Estimate 250,000 – 300,000 SEK).

They can also present a limited edition Omega Speedmaster in 18K gold with a matching bracelet from 1992. This stunning timepiece is a tribute to Omega’s classic chronograph movement 27 CHRO C12 and is a commemorative model created to mark its 50th anniversary. The movement was later adjusted and changed name to 321, the movement found in Speedmaster watches from 1957 to 1968. This is also the first time in Speedmaster history that the watch comes with a sapphire crystal. (Estimate 200,000 – 250,000 SEK).

Another very interesting piece and top lot, is the Patek Philippe Nautilus 3800 in 18K gold with a diamond dial. The first Nautilus model was launched in 1976 and was created by none other than design legend Gérald Genta. In 1981, the new model of the Nautilus, reference 3800, was launched as a slimmer version of the original model from 1976. A very rare watch and highly sought after by collectors and watch enthusiasts alike. The auction’s Nautilus 3800 comes from the original owner and with original certificate. (Estimate 600,000 – 800,000 SEK).

Another rarity they are proud to present is the Heuer “Volvo” Carrera reference 2447 NST, with provenance from its original owner. What makes this watch special is the so-called double-signed dial with both Volvo’s and Heuer’s emblems. With only a few known examples of this model on the market, this is a unique opportunity for collectors to become the owner of a truly exceptional wristwatch. This watch was made exclusively for high performance Volvo employees in the US, according to our correspondence with Heuer. This special edition represents an exceptional period in their history. (Estimate SEK 150,000 – 200,000).

Another very rare watch is the Vacheron Constantin 222 “Jumbo” which was launched in 1977 for the brand’s 222nd anniversary. Contrary to popular belief, it was not Gérald Genta who designed this integrated sports watch, but the then 24-year-old Jörg Hysek. The design of the watch is inspired by the Nautilus and Royal Oak and this model was offered in three sizes: 24 mm, 34 mm and the sought after 37 mm “Jumbo”. (Estimate 450,000 – 650,000 SEK).

They also find an impressive line-up of exciting watches from Rolex, including a diamond-encrusted Day-Date “Masterpiece” in platinum, the Cosmograph Daytona in various designs as well as popular references of the Submariner, Sea-Dweller and GMT-Master. From Cartier we see gold versions of the Santos Dumont with Paris signed dial and a Cartier Ronde from their most exclusive “Collection Privée”. The catalogue also contains desirable watches from IWC, A. Lange & Söhne, Audemars Piguet, Omega, Universal Geneve and others.
