Rolex Explorer II, Mark I Steve McQueen Freccione orange hand, Ref. 1655, circa. 1972. Stainless steel. Automatic movement calibre 1570. Early Mark I execution of the Explorer II Steve McQueen (serial number 3182XXX, caseback engraved wiht II/72). Mark I straight second hand, Mark I dial with “T SWISS T” signature. Watch come from first owner, bought in 1975 at Juwelier Pfister in Stuttgart/Königstraße, with full set of paperwork (punched Rolex warranty certificate, “Your Rolex” instructions, Rolex Explorer booklet, Chronometer translation and green plastic sleeve).
